The things we
almost walk past.
A leaf, a small flower, the way light meets a surface. I collect these observations and translate them into form, texture and proportion.
My work is personal, but a piece also needs to belong in someone’s life. Its character must hold together with its construction and its everyday use.

I’ve worked with furniture since 2004. My experience spans design development, materials, construction and the practical decisions that turn an idea into an object.
Custom handles, legs, inlays and surface patterns give me another scale to work at — closer to jewellery, but always part of the furniture.

La Clavelina’s flower-shaped brass handles are designed and made by me. They connect a botanical starting point with the simple act of opening a door.
